Definitely the small company feel, which I love, and anything that I needed help with, he is there. Chris is a great dude that always answers the phone and willing to help with whatever needed. I absolutely love this bike and look for any chance to ride it. The Recon has been the best purchase of my life.!Ģ of 2 people found the following review helpful:Īrthur Paterson from Westfield, NJ United States Chris, Corbin and the guys know their stuff.

Any problems you have with the bike they fix right away and at affordable cost. It's super-fast and the battery last all day or days, depending how you ride. Gas powered bikes are NO match uphill or 0-60 off the line against the Recon. The Recon can go up the steepest mountains with zero loss of power, actually accelerating up the whole way. Also, the fact that I can ride the Recon in parks, boardwalks, sidewalks and other locations that dirt bikes are NOT allowed, makes it 1000x more valuable. My friends and family all ride dirt bikes and were blown away on the Recon's speed and abilities. Do not hesitate to order one if you like regular motorcycles. With the Street Safety Kit you get the Auxiliary Power Kit and Headlight, Taillight/brake light, blinkers, mirrors and horn, all actuated from an easy to use handle bar mounted control system.ġ of 2 people found the following review helpful: If you are attempting to make your bike street legal at your local DMV or you just want to ease your nerves while out riding, the street safety kit is for you. The Performance MotorWheel option is must have for high impact loads or super rocky conditions, with the added protection of the 18" tire. The Performance MotoWheel all comes together with the cross pattern lacing into the race proven 18" Excel Takasago (or similar) rim, that same rim they race motocross with. The Performance MotorWheel increases spoke diameter by almost 100% from the standard MotorWheel, these hand made spokes are so thick we have to custom machine each hub to allow for the assembly to come together. If you plan on pushing your bike to the highest levels of performance, you will definitely want this option. Hand built in the USA by individual build engineers to the highest standard with the world's top level products, materials, and expertise. This is a very unique feeling and can substantially add to the effective range of your bike. This extremely high quality piece of kit allows you maintain that gearing but add 2.5 overdrive, which allows you to pedal and put tension in the chain at speed upwards of 50 mph. In the stock configuration the Eagle is able to be pedaled to about 15 mph with it's single speed gearset. Charge or run just about any auxiliary device you can think of that has 120 watt or less power requirements.ĭesigned and built in Germany, the Schlumpf high speed drive is a beautiful piece of engineering. The system comes with direct 12V bus inside the body and a handle bar mounted 12V port and 5V USB port for ease of access and use. The heart of the kit is the CAB designed DC/DC converter, which converts the battery voltage (72V nominal) down to 12V at up to 10 amps.

Don't let the biggest ebike battery on the planet go to waste, get the Auxiliary Power Kit and drive any 12V or USB 5V system up to 120 Watts. Each light comes with it's own on off button, so you can choose to run stealth at night if that's what you want or need. The LED kit is blindingly bright front and rear so you can see them and they can see you. Hardwired into the biggest ebike battery on the planet, and directly connected to your ignition, no more having to swap out or charge your light batteries or forgetting to turn it off.
#RAW POWER MOTORWORKS UPGRADE#
The Level 3 Upgrade is the biggest ebike battery in the world, larger than many electric motorcycle batteries. This is a huge benefit when it comes to getting where you want to ride hard, getting it done, then being able to make it back home and the whole time not having any concern for state of charge. The level 2 upgraded battery available for the Recon is over 3000 Watt Hours of energy that will provide up to about 100 miles of range if hypermiling and the Level 3 upgrade is over 4500 Watt Hours of energy and can provide for up to about 200 miles if riding efficiently, and 20% or less of that if you are hammering down. If you are hammering down you can expect about a third or as little as a quarter of what you get when riding efficiently. At around 2600 Watt Hours of energy, the stock battery on the Recon is already the biggest ebike battery available on a stock ebike in the world and will take you close to 80 miles per charge if riding efficiently.
